[ He has no idea what a quirk is but you can't just blame everything on your quirk!! ]
We could, but I don't think they'd know. They don't, like, know anything? Anyways, didn't you want to become a super strong and powerful hero that'll save the day? Here's your chance, instead of relying on others!
[ well, that is true... kano definitely has a point here, but the thing is... ochako doesn't know what to do, and now there's all this pressure? hm. ]
Okay, but there's no way for us to know if there was anyone here in the first place. When they came to talk to us, it sounded like the whole place was empty before all of us got here.
That's easy to assume, but this place doesn't seem to follow the same rules as any of our worlds. The leaders keep saying the Realm is talking directly to them, so... maybe the people who were here before were just part of the Realm itself.
[ she shrugs. ]
Or maybe they disappeared when we came here - like we all switched places, or something.
[ That shrug is one he's going to mirror, because the idea of this ~*~*Realm*~*~ being some sort of handwavy entity doesn't sit right with him, that things are just being waved off because of magic and concepts and things that have no proof. It's all pointless conjecture to him. ]
What for? There's no point to that. I think we're thinking about this the wrong way. I mean, we can talk theories until our brains ooze outta our ears, but we should figure out why things are happening, first. That narrows down the "what exactly happened," and from there we tease out the "how."
[ The "how"s don't matter, though. Just the "what"s and "what now"s. ]

[ There's no people around here?? There are """mermaids""" in the river. Even the forest is full of shadows and Kano doesn't quiet trust that. ]

[ still, she gives a nod. ]
I can see what you mean, though. It's weird that there's all this stuff here when there's no one else around.

[ Heros find missing persons, right? Come on, Ochako, let's go. ]

[ and she's just a hero in training, she's not there yet :( ]
We could always ask Fox, or Wolf or Rabbit about it and see what they say?

Yeah, but they were obviously people. Fresh food in the kitchen, right? Gotta have just disappeared when we got here.
