I'm sure he'll be fine. [though RIP to whoever he's stuck with.] It's cool isn't it? There's stuff out there I've never even seen before. Plus all of the new rooms to look at.
[like this one!] But I haven't really checked out this VR thing yet.
I know he will, but it's still funny to think about. He's always so grumpy.
[ rip to his new roommate... and effect partner, lmao. ]
It's all pretty cool. Being so close to space is something I never thought I'd be able to do! [ ahhh but the moon is right there, it's so awesome. ] I figured this room would be fun to explore too, being virtual reality and all... but it's an almost perfect picture of my school. It's almost like being back there.
[there's a grin that says he 100% agrees that bucky is grumpy, but he's more impressed with space at the moment.]
We travel through space to get to the different worlds we visit, but this is still different for me, too. [he's still looking at UA though.] ...can I come? I'd like to see what it's like.
[he's curious if they can actually, like, go inside and stuff. also he would just like to hang out with her which doesn't strike him as weird at all, so place your bets on how long it takes for them to notice they're linked.]
You do? Do you have a spaceship and everything, too?
[ ahhhh, that sounds so awesome! she's a little jealous. ]
Sure you can! Normally, you wouldn't be able to come in without a visitor's pass or a school ID, but there's no one here to stop us. I can show you my classroom!
[ she's just gonna start walking and assume sora will follow haha ]
“Gummi”? Like, the candy? [ sounds sticky. ] Did you have to get a license to do the navigation, or something?
[ she’ll probably have a lot of questions. space navigation sounds like a dream. ]
It’s not that common, but UA is the top hero school in the country! They need the extra security so villains don’t get in and attack us or the teachers. [ she laughs, a little sheepish. ] And for the press, I guess. You wouldn’t believe how bad they are. They set off the alarms trying to get in and interview us about the villain attacks my class went through - it sent the whole school into a panic.
Nah, it's like this space material. I don't really know how it all works, but other people do. I've never had a license for that but Donald wouldn't let me fly for a long time.
[and then donald was rude and bullied him into doing it faster.]
There's more than one hero school? [that's even cooler, what the heckie.] That makes sense though. It'd be pretty hard to fight back if a bunch of villains came while you were in the middle of class. [he makes a face though because the press sounds kind of annoying.] Couldn't the press just wait like everybody else?
Huh, interesting. Flying like that sounds fun, though! Why wouldn’t he let you do it?
[ she has no idea how bad sora is with tech lmao ]
But yeah, there’s hero schools all over the country. Heroes are pretty popular, so a lot of people want to try to become one, you know? So of course they’d want to make sure we’re doing it right.
[ she gives a light laugh as she leads sora down the hall toward the freshman classrooms. ]
Guess not. But, you know - when a bunch of students get involved in such a big villain attack, the adults all freak out.
Who knows? Donald likes to argue with me about lots of stuff. [yeah this is definitely all it is. oh well! following, following.]
I guess if everybody's got a quirk that makes sense. People wanting to use to to help other people. But you must be really good with yours to get into the best school.
[ laughing, as she leads him toward classroom 1-A! ]
Yeah - technically, it's illegal to use your quirk in public without a license, so it's probably better to have the laws to keep everyone safe. [ that said, she rubs the back of her neck, a little embarrassed. ] I dunno, I guess so. I still have a long way to go, though.
You think? I get that there's always ways we can improve, but that doesn't mean you're not already good at what you can do. [he has not seen her use her quirk ever, but he feels like she's a hard worker and would train a lot to better her technique.]
Well, I mean... I want to be a support and rescue hero, because that's what my quirk will be best for. But I still need to learn more about how to apply it in a crisis without making things worse somehow, and how to defend myself and civilians, in case a villain attacks while I'm helping someone. Not to mention...
[ her cheeks flush - a little deeper than her normal, everyday blush. ]
My quirk has... some limits. So I need to train more to get around them.
[ anyway now that they're here! she spreads her arms wide and does a quick little twirl. ]
My homeroom! [ bouncing over to a seat toward the back: ] This one's my desk. It's almost like I never left!
[he has so many questions and he's about to ask, like, 20 but then he sees the way she literally dances past the subject and he grins, putting more of his focus on the room in front of them.]
Your class is bigger than mine. [he'll walk through, checking out the desks and the room itself.] It's kind of amazing how real all of this seems, isn't it?
[ she's not trying to avoid it! but she's not going to lead him blindly either lmao. ]
Your class must have been tiny, huh? [ teasingly, as she hops up to sit on top of her own desk, legs swinging idly. ] The only weird thing about it is how empty the school is. It's never this quiet here. I think Present Mic would lose his mind if it was.
[closes my eyes ray you know him, he will 100% just forget it for now.]
Well yeah. Our whole island's pretty small. [he'll lean against a nearby desk, folding his arms over his chest.] I bet you're never bored here either with so many people around. Is Present Mic another hero?
I haven't really been to school for a while, but...[he absolutely is the kind of person to fall asleep in class, and the sheepish smile on his face says so.] I still did fine.
[he can't help but laugh it off because he knows how it seems, and he knows most schools wouldn't let him get away with it. but at her question he seems to light up again.]
You really want to see it? It's pretty different from this.
no subject
Really? I guess we switched, then! Though I wonder where that’ll leave Bucky-san…
[ welp, he’s on his own. ]
I don’t mind the change. Especially if it means we get to see space!
no subject

[sometimes...you just fly a spaceship. but he beams and bounds over to her, immediately reaching her side and looking up at the school.]
Let's go then! I didn't think schools could just be closed to people. [...the island has none security, it's fine.]

And yea, he is. His quirk is basically making his voice loud? So he can't stand it when things are quiet. He's our English teacher.
no subject
That'd be a really good quirk to have in a place like this. [shouty...] But guess that means you can't get away with sleeping in his class.
no subject
[ laughing oh my god ]
Do you fall asleep in class a lot, Sora-kun?

Yeah! Why not? We might as well take advantage of this place while it's here, right? And I bet you miss home, too, huh?
no subject
Yeah, you're right. Okay. We can change it! [...] I've just gotta think about it and the room will take care of the rest, right?
