I think so. Especially since the wild west is kind of like a ghost town. [if you squint. but she asks and he grins, pulling a cupcake out from behind his back.]
One of these would've been a treat. You can still have it if you want though.
Both, preferably. And I dunno. If the Realm's connecting us to these places specifically, why not? Maybe there's a bone between them that we don't even know about yet.
It could just be random, you know - like those disturbances we saw before. But I don't know, maybe you're right.
Maybe we should ask the leaders? If anyone would know, it's probably them.
[ she reaches up to adjust her hat as she talks, and the very tip of it pokes into a bubble, and suddenly, the manor is gone.
in its place, there's a huge field, loud booms and crashes coming from every direction. costumed teenagers run amok, and among them, a boy in green runs off, leaving just sora and a costumed boy behind the rocks before they can protest any more. his eyes linger on the boy's retreating back for a moment longer, before he nods and turns away, eyeing their immediate surroundings: rough, rocky terrain, with loose debris in every direction, just waiting to trip up anyone who gets too reckless. it’s far from ideal for anyone who's grounded, but for sora...
"Uraraka, take some of my tape. We can use it to set a trap."
a nod, as sora presses his fingertips together and places one hand on the nearest boulder, and he speaks with ochako's voice. "Okay. We can stick it to the rocks, and I’ll make them float. Since Deku-kun’s drawing them together..."
"...we can use the tape to trap them when you drop the rocks."
it takes another minute to finish setting it up - just enough for the boy in green to draw a crowd. sero-kun races out after him, as sora waits behind a crop of rocks, watching both the duo and the other students following them carefully. the second the boy in green picks the other boy up and jumps away, he hears the signal, checks the positioning one last time, and presses his hands together.
“Release!”
there’s a resounding crash as ten boulders slam into the ground, a chorus of indignant shouts as the tape attached to the debris pins most of the crowd down. only a few stragglers remain, and sero-kun makes quick work of restraining them, too, as he explains their plan to the other boy.
“In order to make sure no one was in a position to be hit by the debris,” ochako says, finally coming into the open to join them, “I hid and figured out the timing!”
a voice echoes across the field: ”Currently, seventy-six people have passed. We will be at capacity soon.”
“We don’t have much time, and I’m sure others will come attack us soon, too. Let’s take these, guys.”
he pulls out the balls assigned, and carefully presses them against the sensors stuck to the trapped students. the moment he hits three, the sensors attached to his own costume light up, and a mechanical voice pipes up with, “Those who have passed should go to the anteroom.”
there’s not enough time to worry about the others, so the three walk off to leave the field.
when the memory fades, ochako is left frowning at the floor. ]
[his first thought is "oh, cool, hero stuff!" and that quickly turns into "wait, what's going on" and fades to "huh???"
as he tries to process what he's seen and what, precisely, ochako might have felt, he shakes his head and turns to face her. he's unaware that his own memory will be shown probably in the next tag or two.]
...was that real? [because it kind of sounds like a test.] And I was right. Your Quirk's pretty strong.
Because that was the provisional license test - for people who are trying to become heroes. But I'm not. I'm just in the support course, so me being there doesn't make sense.
...are you sure? I thought even support heroes would have to take a test of some kind. [...unless ochako forgot something about this which is super possible. hm.]
Well, yeah. Not even heroes can do everything on their own. They're all still human, and we all have limits.
But that's what we're for - to help them do their jobs as well as they can before help gets there. So in a way, we're still helping people, we just aren't on the front lines.

[he does his best not to think about how they're likely having a trial on halloween itself.]

[ in a weird, roundabout way... it's a western setting, but there's still a graveyard and all! ]
So what'd you get for someone who wants a treat, then?

One of these would've been a treat. You can still have it if you want though.

It helps that there's a graveyard. Who knows? Maybe we'll get to see ghosts this Wednesday.
[ sound a little less excited about it maybe ]

[...ghosts though.] I don't think I'd mind seeing some ghosts. Maybe they can give us some answers about this place. I'm not scared.
[bring it, ghosties.]

[ it is a weird question. ]
Um... The school festival? Everyone was mad at us, so we put on that concert for them.

Okay. What class have you always been enrolled in?

If you say so. Every hero needs support, right?

Then what do you think it was that we just saw?
