Well, yeah. Not even heroes can do everything on their own. They're all still human, and we all have limits.
But that's what we're for - to help them do their jobs as well as they can before help gets there. So in a way, we're still helping people, we just aren't on the front lines.
I don't know. It doesn't make sense for someone from the support course to be taking the provisional hero license exam, even for research or something. It doesn't add up, but... a lot of my memories don't, lately. Whatever I'm missing now, it feels like it's always just out of reach.
Im pretty sure they'd only do that if it's what I wanted, though. And maybe I did want to be a hero when I was little, but now... the support course is safer, so I think my parents will be happier if they don't have to worry about me so much.
Yeah, okay, but...what do you want to do? Isn't it more important that you're happy and not just them?
[and maybe it's a fruitless argument because he doesn't quite get it, but unfortunately there isn't room before the remnants of the bubble flicker over them and ochako gets to witness this whole-ass mess. she'll see everything from the beginning, including portions of the fight. as the boy drops both of his keyblades, she'll witness...static? sometimes images of a man with red hair filter through on a high clock tower, but it's mostly grainy and fuzzy for a few seconds until the scene returns to sora's original memory. it fades away as he, donald and goofy begin to venture further into never was.]
god, okay. ochako has... no clue what's going on!! yay!! there are keyblades, they're fighting, but like... why? what did sora do to upset this guy, and what the heck did heh mean by "other"? obviously the static means that he won't remember everything, but... ]
also yeah that sure is a lot, huh? sora's busy watching this, and the thing is he knows what the static part is. but it wasn't meant to be shared, he thinks, because those are someone else's memories and not his own. as everything fades though he looks a little thoughtful instead.]
...that was the first time I ever met Roxas. Back before I knew who he really was to me. [he grins slightly.] Some first impression, huh?
He does that. [tiredly. most of his interactions with roxas truly are when he's off doing his own thing and he just happens to run into him.] ...I think Roxas just wanted me to prove myself, and if I wasn't strong enough he would've taken over himself. That was always sort of the impression I got from him.
People do irrational things when they're hurt and angry. Roxas isn't any different. [it took a while for sora to understand any of that, but after everything...it makes more sense.]
Taken over for the two of us. [he has no real solid proof it could work that way, but also haha.] ...Roxas is half of who I am. He's a part of me, but he's also his own person. It wasn't always that way though.

[ it is a weird question. ]
Um... The school festival? Everyone was mad at us, so we put on that concert for them.

Okay. What class have you always been enrolled in?

If you say so. Every hero needs support, right?

Then what do you think it was that we just saw?
