⬢ Personality:
As a bright and cheerful person at heart, Ochako has a fairly positive outlook on life. She has a very bubbly personality that can sometimes make her seem air-headed or naive, and while she can be both of those things, at her core she really just likes to look at things through a positive lens. She makes an effort to be kind to people she doesn't even know, just because she can, and is well aware that this one of her strengths - it's one of the reasons she's aiming specifically to become a rescue hero, as opposed to a support or combat hero. Her outgoing personality makes her easy to talk to, or perhaps just easy for her to talk to anyone. Whether or not her conversation partner actively participates, she's content enough to fill the silence with chatter of her own.⬢ Powers:
But this isn't to say she's as ditsy as she may come across. While she does tend to speak without thinking and say some rather blunt things, Ochako pays just enough attention to see the strengths and weaknesses of those around her, and pick up on how they feel, such as the time she refused to take part in a mission because it wouldn't be appreciated by the one it was meant to help. This can help her when it comes to combat situations, proving she has a strategic mind in how she can use her opponent's weaknesses against them while developing her strategy on the spot.
However, this also means she is aware of her own weaknesses as well, and the number one issue she has is complacency. Ochako doesn't push herself, at least not for her own sake. She is always willing and ready to help others (like her parents, who are her entire motivation for becoming a hero in the first place), but if left on her own, she tends to just go with the flow. While this can also be a good thing, letting her keep moving through life without being bothered by others, it also means she often defaults to what she's used to instead of seeking out a challenge to improve herself. Usually what brings this to mind is seeing her friends excel and better their skills. As a very supporting friend, Ochako is always happy to see them do well, but it's also a painful reminder of her fear of falling behind. The good thing is that she tries to turn that fear into motivation to do better instead, and looks at her friends as inspirations as they strive to succeed.
Those same friends have noted how intense she can get when inspired, though. Once decided upon something, she is completely unwavering and dives into tasks with an almost manic fervor. Sometimes she can be downright intimidating - often in combat situations, such as when she shadowed the pro hero Gunhead to learn martial arts to improve her physical strength, one of her known weaknesses, at least a little. The problem here is that Ochako has trouble drawing the line between determination and utter recklessness, which can lead to her pushing herself too far, to her own detriment.
Despite that, Ochako more or less knows what she wants out of life. Her primary goal is simple: become a hero, collect the money, and try to make her parents' lives a little easier. She's a bit embarrassed about her family's background with financial difficulties (especially with the fact that it's made her... kind of stingy with her money in some respects), but she is honest enough to own up to it. Helping people gives her a sense of pride, even if it's just her own parents in a theoretical future. And for all their support and insistence on doing what she wants no matter what it means for them, Ochako wants nothing more than to pay them back for that kindness. And what better way to do it than to become a hero they can be a proud of? Ochako knows the path ahead of her won't be easy, but she also knows that it's what she wants, and she plans to work hard to get there.
That said, after failing to save someone once, being a hero has become more to her than a means to take care of her family, though it is still that. Heroism, to Ochako, is doing her best to save as many people as possible, and she clings to that goal with an almost single-minded determination. With the worsening situation with the League of Villains, being an up-and-coming hero is a touch overwhelming, and not even Ochako with her bright, optimistic personality is immune to feeling discouraged in the face of what feels like impossible odds. But instead of letting it paralyze her, Ochako uses it as a driving factor in her motivation to save whoever she can, whatever it takes. If it means fighting, she will fight. If it means rescuing civilians or even fellow heroes in need, she will do that, too, though she will always do her best to finish the fight quickly and get back to those who need her help. Sending money to her family is still a huge factor for her, of course, but she's grown into a hero who really wants to save people - not just for the money, but because the lives of the people she is meant to protect are more important than anything, and she doesn't want to let someone else slip through her fingers.
Zero Gravity - Ochako's quirk, Zero Gravity, gives her the power to nullify the effects of gravity on something she touches and make it float. She can use this ability on just about anything, including living creatures and herself, but if she nears her limit (which, after serious training, is estimated at around 5-6 tonnes) or makes herself float, she suffers severe nausea. She can only float herself for short periods without feeling these symptoms. This is her only supernatural power; all other skills and abilities are things she's been working to hone over time as any normal human would.⬢ Inventory:
★ Hero costume (current outfit) - made with special features to help reduce nausea symptoms brought on from her quirk by stimulating (or reducing stimulation of) pressure points in her ears, neck, and wrist. The belt mostly is for decoration, but it does have small storage compartments. For simplicity's sake, I'll break down the pieces of the costume with more features than nausea relief:⬢ Sample 1: [Link]
★ Uraraka Leg - These shoes are designed to help cushion Ochako's fall, with springs in the heels and shock-absorbing cushioning in the toes. After a recent costume update, there may also be some minor rockets in the soles to increase mobility while floating, though this is not confirmed by the character herself.
★ Uraraka Wrist - In addition to helping suppress nausea, these are equipped with grappling hooks. There are four separate, heavy wires in each wrist guard, which she uses to catch herself or others in midair, or to attach to items she's floated to make use of for attacks by throwing those items at her opponents.
★ All Might key chain - her Christmas gift from Izuku Midoriya, kept in the belt of her hero costume.
★ Secondary outfit
★ For t-shirts, please give her options 1 & 3!
