Tuesday was the first I'd heard of it. I might be a ghost, but none have decided to haunt me directly - just have sent messages. They can't talk or write, apparently.
They might not have enough power to break through the barrier between the Realm and the space that they're inhabiting currently. There's limitations on our messages, so it doesn't surprise me that there's limitations in place here, too.
