It wouldn't be fair not to invite both of you, and I'm pretty sure Tsukino-san just wanted to play with your hair. I'm glad you guys had fun, though!
[ she's gonna try holding it in both hands to give it a slow, controlled swing. ]
You really think I'm that strong?
[ it surprises her a bit? people are nice to her face, but they still tend to think she's a fragile little girl instead of a h̴̖͓̻̘̞̼̻̔̇́̀͆̇̽̂̽̕͝e̶̢̨̛̘͇͖͔̫̤͎̭͔̓͗̂̾̏̕͜͜r̸̬̠͈̞̒͑̒̑͠͝ơ̶̬̮͍͒̊̔͒ͅ - martial artist. ]
She was pretty invested in just combing my hair out and doing things with it, wasn't she. [ Which was - fine. He had accepted that was going to be his fate. ] But it was fun.
[ He steps aside, holding his hand out for his daemon. It flutters, and alights on his knuckles, but both of them still when she asks that question. His expression is a little... bemused, maybe. ]
Do people tell you you aren't? You're young, which means you've got the room to grow, and still I wouldn't call you weak. That "quirk" of yours isn't a combative one, maybe, but you want to learn, and it's not as if you're scrawny or delicate. It's obvious that you're training.
It's because you have so much, and you take really good care of it.
[ . . . ]
Most people say that I'm fragile and soft and stuff. Not just because of my quirk - I think they look at me and how I act and just assume that I can't fight. I can't blame them for it; I may not be scrawny, but I don't really look that strong. And my quirk being what it is probably makes it easier to accept.
[ she doesn't. ochako has always been curves and soft edges. and she's friendly, so without any obvious musculature or sharpness to her, it's easy to see where they get that assumption, but no less frustrating. ]
It's annoying sometimes, but... it's still something I can use.
