I know what you mean. I'm still not sure how much of what we saw was real, either. [ but some of it had to be, right? otherwise why would any of them be injured? ] Weird how they didn't say why they'd want to turn people into monsters. Like... what's the point of hurting people like that?
That's exactly it. I don't know why somebody would want to do that either. It's like they were doing it just because they could. That's not really a good reason at all either.
It makes me wonder if there's something we missed in there. But I don't think we have a way of going back.
But if it's too late... then we'll just have to keep it in mind in case something like this happens again. I took notes on what we found, since our memories won't be reliable here. Maybe you guys should, too?

Yeah. I'll write down everything I remember in the PHS later just in case we forget somehow. And if it does happen again...maybe we can be more prepared this time.

...I just wonder how well we can prepare for something like that. I wasn't prepared for a fight at all - we got lucky that there were weapons when we got there, and there isn't a lot around here that could help with that.

I can't blame them for being skeptical, though. It's a little hard to believe, if you didn't experience it yourself, huh? But maybe if we show them what we found, it'll be easier?
We got lucky at the last minute. Alex and I only found the one sword right before the bigger monster found us. It's a good thing we don't just have extra weapons laying around, but it also makes it way harder to be able to defend ourselves against whatever.
I guess maybe it's not so strange to me now. [after...everything in kingdom hearts.] But all we found was a bracelet and a sword. We didn't get anything else. Blanca and Shiro might've but I haven't asked.
I'm a little jealous you got to keep yours, honestly... I wouldn't have minded keeping a knife for self-defense, but it turned to ash when we left... But I guess you're right that it's a good thing.

It's weird that there'd be things like that just set aside for us, though. It makes me wonder if there's a chance what happened to us was planned somehow - especially with that note we found.
Maybe it didn't matter exactly who went, as long as someone did?
...Oh. We found a note from one of the leaders with everything else. It seemed more like a diary entry than anything that was meant to be read by someone else, so it seemed a little weird to me that it would be out there with the other stuff, like we were meant to find it.
...we didn't find anything like that at all. All of the notes we found were by the scientist responsible for the monsters. Do you know which leader it was? Maybe we can ask.
No, but I wanted to ask them about it. I'm worried there's a chance that they'll keep forgetting things, like we are, but maybe seeing it will jog their memories.
